Help a worthwhile cause:
Your $30 contribution helps preserve and celebrate our history for future generations. The society is run solely by volunteers and is funded only by donations from members of the public.

Learn about our history:
Our monthly Speaker Night program features knowledgeable and entertaining speakers talking about Nevada County's history. Our quarterly Newsletter and Bulletin feature articles and photos about people, places and events of Nevada County past. We have a vast amount of resources available in our museums, and our research library, covering all aspects of Nevada County's history. We also sell many books and publications (with 10% off for members).

Meet interesting people:
Network and socialize with others interested in Nevada County History.

Volunteer:
Volunteer in whatever areas of interest are your passion. Work side by side with our talented, dedicated, long-time members.

Business members:
For $55, enjoy all the benefits of regular membership and also have an ad in our quarterly newsletter and receive an attractive certificate, suitable for wall hanging. You can also have a link to your business website from the nevadacountyhistory.org website.
